LYNN CROSBIE was born in Montreal and is a cultural critic, author, and poet. A Ph.D. in English literature with a background in visual studies, she teaches at the University of Toronto and the Art Gallery of Ontario. Her books (of poetry and prose) include Queen Rat, Dorothy L’Amour, Liar, and her latest The Corpses of the Future (Anansi 2017). She is also the author of the controversial book, Paul’s CaseLife Is About Losing Everything and the Trillium Book Award-nominated novel Where Did You Sleep Last Night. She is a contributing editor at Fashion and a National Magazine Award winner who has written about sports, style, art, and music.
CANISIA LUBRIN was born in St. Lucia. Her greatly anticipated debut collection, VOODOO HYPOTHESIS (Wolsak & Wynn, 2017), was released to accolades and praise. Her writings can also be found in RoomThe PuritanThis MagazineArcCV2and The City Series #3: Toronto Anthology. She has been an arts administrator and community advocate for close to two decades. She currently co-hosts Pivot Reading Series (w/Michelle Brown).  Lubrin has contributed to the podcast On The Line, hosted by Kate Sutherland for The Rusty Toque. She studied at York University where she won the President’s Prize in poetry and the Sylvia Ellen Hirsch Memorial Award in creative writing. Lubrin holds an MFA from the University of Guelph and teaches at Humber College. She lives in Whitby, Ontario.
