Poet, TANIS MACDONALD is the author of Out of Line: Daring to Be an Artist Outside the Big City (Wolsak & Wynn, 2018) and three books of poetry. She was the recipient of the Robert Kroetsch Teaching Award in 2017 and the Faculty of Arts Teaching Scholar Award at WLU in 2018. She is also a co-editor, with Rosanna Deerchild and Ariel Gordon, of GUSH: Menstrual Manifestos for Our Times (2018).
JACOB McARTHUR MOONEY is the highly acclaimed author of three collections of poetry, Don’t Be InterestingThe New Layman’s Almanac and Folk, “an elaborately composed inquiry into the human need for frames, edges, borders” which was a finalist for the Trillium Book Award for Poetry and the International Dylan Thomas Prize. His work has also received the Banff Centre Bliss Carman Poetry Award. He’s the editor of the 2015 edition of The Best Canadian Poetry in English. A Nova Scotian now living in Toronto, he is a graduate of the MFA Creative Writing programme at the University of Guelph-Humber.
