DAVID ALEXANDER is the author of the chapbooks Chicken Scratch from Puddles of Sky Press (2014) and Modern Warfare from Anstruther Press (2016). After the Hatching Oven is forthcoming from Nightwood Editions next spring. Poems from this collection have appeared or are forthcoming in subTerrain, CV2, The Puritan, Hamilton Arts & Letters, Bad Nudes, and the Humber Literary Review.
SPENCER GORDON‘s debut poetry collection is Cruise Missile Liberals (Nightwood Editions, 2017). He is also the author of the poetry chapbooks Anno Zombie Dance (Emergency Response Unit, 2016), Conservative Majority (Apt. 9, 2013) and Feel Good! Look Great! Have a Blast! (Ferno House, 2011, shortlisted for the 2012 bpNichol Chapbook Award). He is one of CBC Books’ Writers to Watch and the winner of a CBC Book Award for Cosmo. Spencer is co-founder and a senior editor of the ten-year-old magazine The Puritan.
OWAIN NICHOLSON grew up in Winnipeg and studied both creative writing and archaeology at the University of Victoria. A working archaeologist, Nicholson sees history, ancestry, nature and people at the centre of both practices, and his poems often use the digsite as a source of image and metaphor. Digsite is Nicholson’s debut collection of poetry. He currently lives in Toronto.
