RONNA BLOOM is the author of five books of poetry and currently the Poet in Residence at Mount Sinai Hospital where she offers health care professionals, patients, and visitors opportunities to articulate their experiences, through the practice of reflective writing and poetry. Her most recent book, Cloudy With A Fire in the Basement (Pedlar Press, 2012) was shortlisted for The Relit Award. She edited the anthology Take As Needed: Poems and Reflections from the Halls, Coffee Shops, Board Rooms and Waiting Rooms of Mount Sinai Hospital.
CONCETTA PRINCIPE writes poetry and fiction, with three previous publications, including walking (2013), Interference (1999) and Stained Glass (1997). She received a PhD in Humanities in 2014; a scholarly work came out with Palgrave Macmillan in 2015. She is a sessional professor of literature / creative writing at York University, and lives in Toronto.
