“There was a story.”
There is a story. Norma, Dale & I.

Norma hails from Toronto, an artist/poet living in San Francisco making her mark, raising the bar for some time now. She met Dale there (originally from Texas, where Skanky Possum & Slow Poetry in America blossomed) who took a teaching job in Toronto where they both met Kirby (American-born expat queer from Ohio) all three an ongoing interconnected weave of friendship in poetry, Dale currently finishing an academic collection of essays on Norma’s work, as well as editing Kirby’s newest, she, KFB having the honour to publish a third Dale Smith (not including a breathtaking broadside), alongside a dream come true Norma Cole chapbook.
They say “likes attract,” and while there may be some truth to it, (a shared life in poetry), what continues to make me marvel is these wondrous orbits happen at all.
Here’s our three new offerings from knife | fork | book. Welcome spring.
