FROM BOX TO SHELF. We are so grateful to our poets and readers who support the shop in numerous ways, including donating new, rare, and gently used poetry books. You may not know this, but KFB started with Kirby’s own private collection of 40 years along with a significant donation of chapbooks from poet HOA NGUYEN. Dear friend of the shop, SACHIKO MURAKAMI, dropped off two boxes of beauties this week, as well as book donations from LYNN McCLORY, LAURA K McRAE, and other anonymous donors (our beloved publishers have been incredibly generous as well). We also receive financial donations specifically earmarked to purchase books for the shop.
