LAUREN CARTER is an award-winning poet and former Ontarian living in St. Andrews, Manitoba. Her debut poetry collection, Lichen Bright, was long-listed for the ReLit Award and an earlier poem, “Island Clearances,” won the ROOM 2014 poetry contest. Her first novel, Swarm was voted onto the CBC Canada Reads long list and her prose has been nominated and long-listed for various awards and been anthologized in Best Canadian StoriesFollowing Sea is Carter’s second collection of poetry.
ELIZABETH ROSS is the author of Kingdom (Palimpsest, 2015) and After Birth, a second poetry collection forthcoming in the spring of 2019. Her work has been published in literary magazines across Canada, longlisted for the CBC poetry prize, selected for inclusion in The Best of the Best Canadian Poetry in English, and was recently nominated for a Pushcart Prize and a National Magazine Award. She grew up in Victoria and now lives in Hamilton, where she’s working on a collection of essays.
PAULA EISENSTEIN is the author of the novel Flip Turn (Mansfield Press, 2012). Her prose and poetry have appeared in the literary magazines Descant, The Puritan, The Rusty Toque, filling Station, Big Smoke Poetry, in the anthologies The White Collar Book and GUSH: Menstrual Manifestos for our Times and as a broadside through Toronto Poetry Vendors.
